Are your classes for experienced yogis only? 2018-02-13T11:36:30+00:00

Absolutely not! We welcome newcomers and those more experienced the same. We design each class to be appropriate for all levels and offer modifications to make poses easier as well as variations to make them more challenging.

Where is the studio located and where can I park? 2018-02-13T11:37:29+00:00

The studio is located at 438 Main St in Middletown, just 2 doors down from the Cricket store. Look for the “Yoga in Middletown” sign and head to the second floor of the building. Street parking in Middletown is FREE on Sundays! Feel free to park anywhere near our studio.

Do I have to register for the class or can I “drop in” 2018-02-13T11:38:29+00:00

We would prefer you to register so we can keep the class sizes appropriate. That being said, if you decide last minute you really want to try a class, you’re always welcome to the studio.

Do I need to bring a mat or anything else? 2018-02-13T11:39:12+00:00

The only thing you need is an open mind. However, most individuals will choose to bring their own mat. You can use one of ours for free for your first class, and renting one will be $1/class thereafter. We have blocks and props available to use free of charge. We also recommend you bring water.

What should I wear? 2018-02-13T11:39:44+00:00

We suggest you wear tighter-fitting athletic clothes. T shirts and shorts/sweatpants are fine but many individuals find that they are more comfortable in tighter clothes. Socks are optional and many individuals will go barefoot.

How much do classes cost and how do I pay? 2018-02-13T12:34:57+00:00

Please see the tab above titled “price schedule” for details on pricing. We will be adding online payments in the near future. We accept cash and credit cards.

Which essential oils do you use in your class? Where can I buy them? 2018-02-13T11:41:23+00:00

We use lavender oil mostly but will occasionally use peppermint, eucalyptus and lemon grass. You can buy them at most natural food stores such as Whole Foods. If you are interested, let me know and you are welcome to purchase the oil from me.

Are these classes unisex? 2018-02-13T11:42:09+00:00

Yes, of course! We regularly have males participate in our classes. Both genders have found that yoga has greatly increased their balance, flexibility, and mindfulness.

Do you host private events? 2018-02-13T11:42:43+00:00

We love helping to make your event a memorable experience. Please contact us to discuss details and pricing.
